Park Island is a multi-purpose sports reserve in Napier. Currently used mostly for rugby matches, it is also the home training ground of Hawkes Bay Rugby Union. TIC was contracted by Napier City Council to undertake full construction of the new rugby field for Hawkes Bay Rugby Union.

Work done:

• Importation of 19,000 tonnes of silt to build up base before construction of the field could begin

• Full construction of field

• Full drainage, irrigation, soil field and grow in

• Supply and install in ground water tanks
