korikori Sports Park & Park Lane Construction, Hamilton City Council

Construction of the new Korirkori Sports Park & Park Lane is part of Hamilton City Council’s objective to improve community facilities. The park is comprised of five sports pitches available for a range of codes as well as carparking, roading, rain gardens, planting, kerbing, line marking and more. This park links up with Rototuna Junior and Senior High Schools.

Work done:

  • New stormwater Line - 150m of 450/375 line with 3 stormwater manholes

  • Top Removal across 5 fields

  • Levelling of soil subgrade and sand profile

  • Installation of main drains, lateral drains and sand slits

  • Installation of irrigation to include mainline waterlines for drinking fountains and future buildings and toilets

  • Supply and installation of 1x80mm sand carpet and 4x 50mm sand carpet surfaces

  • 2 x 8 strip natural cricket blocks

  • Supply and install of a pump station to include a security fence and backflow preventor

  • Supply and install of concrete paths

  • Supply and install of an outdoor fitness centre, including 8 pieces of equipment with artificial turf and shock pad

  • Supply and install of roadside bollards

  • Full site grow-in and maintenance for 4 months post completion
